Angle Health Raises Funding

The $600 million total funding round includes: a $400 million secondary tender offer and $200 million Series C funding. According to Angle Health, it will use the $200 million Series C capital to support its long-term strategy and scale its business across the U.S.

The investment round, led by Vitruvian Partners with participation from new investor Town Hall Ventures and existing investors Blumberg Capital, Portage Ventures, PruVen Capital, and Y Combinator, is expected to close later this month.

$400 Million is Going Straight to Existing Shareholders

A tender offer means that the incoming investors (led by Vitruvian Partners) are formally offering to buy existing shares directly from the company’s current shareholders at a specific, predetermined price. Existing investors Blumberg Capital, Portage Ventures, PruVen Capital, and Y Combinator can choose to sell a portion of their shares to lock in their investment profits early.

$200M Series C Round Goes into Angle Health’s Balance Sheet

This means the $200 million Series C round goes directly into Angle Health’s corporate balance sheet to fund its expansion plans. The company is using the funds to aggressively scale out across its 47-state footprint to sign up more local small and midsize businesses.

Angle Health reported that its business hit profitability on both a GAAP net-income basis and an EBITDA basis for four straight quarters. The company is leveraging AI to capture a share of the $4 trillion US healthcare market, which ranks as one of the largest pools of capital on earth, according to data provided by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)

Angle Health Currently Serves More Than 5,000 Employers

Angle Health explicitly states that since its launch in 2021, the company has grown its footprint to “serving more than 5,000 employers” across 47 states. These 5,000+ businesses use Angle Health’s AI-native platform to provide customized health insurance benefits to their employees. This massive scale is what allows Angle Health to manage nearly $1 billion in annualized premium-equivalents.

“Angle Health has replaced the archaic systems and manual workflows of a century-old industry with a healthcare platform built for the AI-era,” said Jeremy Gelber, partner at Vitruvian Partners.

“Access to great healthcare shouldn’t depend on the size of the company you work for,” said Ty Wang, co-founder and CEO of Angle Health. “Small businesses employ tens of millions of Americans, yet they have historically had the least options available to them for healthcare coverage and almost no control over its costs.”

Ty Wang said: “We built Angle Health to fix that. This financing enables us to reach more of the local businesses that power our country and continue to deliver a personalized, higher-quality, more affordable healthcare experience to everyday Americans.”

Angle Health does everything a traditional health insurance company does. It purpose-built software handles everything from onboarding new employees to processing medical data and paying doctors, removing the need for manual paperwork.

Digital health benefits startups have secured massive amount of funding so far in 2026. More recently, Thatch, a digital health benefits platform, has raised $108 million in a new equity funding round at a $1 billion market valuation to help employers shift from traditional group health plans to a consumer-directed model.
