Ayble Health Raises $16M in Series A Funding

Ayble Health, a virtual digestive clinic, has closed a $16 million Series A funding round, bringing its total funding raised to date to over $27 million.

Neon Fund (Being Neon Ventures) led the investment round at a time when gastrointestinal (GI) conditions affect 70 million Americans and drive $136 billion in annual U.S. healthcare spending. This $136 billion spend is more than the total cost of diabetes or heart disease, according to data provided by Ayble Health.

Ayble Health said currently, nearly 70% of U.S. counties lack a single practicing gastroenterologist, and patients face an average wait time of 40 days for an in-person specialty visit.

“I built Ayble because I’m an Inflammatory Bowel Disease patient,” said Sam Jactel, Founder and CEO of Ayble Health. “I’ve lived through the diagnostic delays, the care gaps, and the overall frustration of a system that isn’t designed for patients who need ongoing, coordinated care. Many patients are also managing autoimmune conditions, and too often, no one is treating the whole picture.”

Sam Jactel, in a press statement, emphasized that: “This funding lets us close that gap: deepening our AI precision care capabilities and extending our multidisciplinary model into autoimmune, so patients get one team built for how these conditions actually show up in their lives. The growth we’ve seen and the partnerships we’ve built with leading employers, payers, and providers demonstrate that the need for our work is massive.”

The new capital will be used to expand the clinic’s footprint into adjacent autoimmune conditions, Ayble Health noted in an official press release.

Ayble Health works with leading employers, health insurance plans, health systems, and community GI practices to scale access to multidisciplinary care, reduce healthcare costs, and improve the lives of millions of Americans with chronic digestive diseases.

Neon Fund led the investment round with participation from Unum Ventures, Upfront Ventures, M13, Cleveland Clinic Ventures, DigiTx, Accomplice and several individual strategic investors. Neon is an early-growth stage venture capital firm investing in digital healthcare and consumer startups to build a better future and change outcomes for American patients.

“I’ve been tracking the GI space closely for years, and what Ayble has built is different,” said Kimmy Scotti, Founding and Managing Partner at Neon, who previously co-founded 8VC,

Kimmy Scotti said: “Having invested early in top digital health companies, I’ve seen what it takes to build a category-defining company in healthcare. Ayble has spent years building the clinical evidence before they scaled the business. That earns trust from the full ecosystem: health systems, payers, and most importantly, patients, and it’s what makes a durable market leader.”

Ayble Health is currently an in-network provider covering over 80 million Americans through partnerships with commercial health plans, large employers, and health systems. For most insured patients, individual copays range between $0 and $30 per visit. The new funding will be used to scale this digital infrastructure to accommodate more patients managing these overlapping chronic conditions.

Telehealth is the hottest investment area within the digital health sector in 2026. Virtual care startups addressing real health issues have secured a massive amount of funding so far this year, according to our recent funding insights. More recently, Wellinks, a provider of telehealth-enabled remote patient monitoring solutions, has announced the first close of its $10 million Series B Funding round from UMass Memorial Health.

In another deal, Prosper Medical secured $16 million to scale its AI-powered concierge primary care platform.
