Dassault Systemes in Talks to Acquire ArisGlobal for $2 Billion

Fresh Dassault Systemes in talks to acquire U.S. ArisGlobal from Nordic Capital ‌for about $2 billion.

The potential deal would extend Dassault ​Systemes’ foray into software used in ⁠life sciences and would rank as ​its second-biggest acquisition after its $5.8 billion takeover ​of clinical trial software group Medidata Solutions in 2019.

ArisGlobal was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts. Today, ArisGlobal serves more than 200 enterprise customers, including half of the world’s top 50 biopharma companies, processes more than 12 million safety cases annually, and is expected to generate approximately USD 175 million in revenue in 2026. 

ArisGlobal develops and delivers regulatory, safety, and quality software to a global client base that includes many of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and biotech organisations, as well as regulatory authorities.
