Magicare AI Exits Stealth With $3.6M to Automate Post-Acute Care Operations

Magicare AI (formerly Exponential), a developer of an agentic operating software system for post‑acute care providers, raised $3.6 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Mana Ventures.

Headquartered in Bergenfield, New Jersey, Magicare AI is inventing what it calls the first “Agentic Operating System” specifically for the post-acute care industry.

Magicare’s CEO, Daniel Schoenbrun, said Magicare has partnered with CareOne, Lionstone, and Vivage-Beecan to co-innovate AI solutions aimed at reducing $100 billion in annual administrative waste and addressing critical staffing shortages in the post-acute care sector.

Daniel Schoenbrun said these strategic partnerships focus on utilizing operator-led feedback to improve efficiency, increase census through faster admissions, and ensure regulatory compliance.
