Onos Health Raises $17M to Accelerate Its Commercial Growth

Onos Health has secured a $17 million Series A funding round to accelerate the commercialization of its AI-powered actionable behavioral health clinical intelligence platform, with leading U.S. health plans, including Aetna.

Costanoa led the investment round with participation from Flare Capital Partners and strategic investment from CVS Health Ventures, the venture capital arm of CVS Health.

Built using the largest behavioral health quality database, Onos Health brings clarity to care quality and utilization, so payers can proactively partner with providers to identify the optimal care pathways for members and deliver the best possible outcomes across their populations.

Commenting on the fundraise, Akshay Agarwal, co-founder and CEO of Onos Health, said, “AI has the potential to fundamentally transform how health plans manage care by making clinical quality and care pathways measurable at scale.”

AI-powered clinical intelligence startups attracted significant funding so far this year. More recently, Anomaly Insights, a developer of an AI-powered payer intelligence platform built to help healthcare providers predict claim line payments and potential denial reasons with over 99% accuracy, raised $17 million in new funding, bringing its total funding raised to date to $34 million.

In another deal, Knit Health, a developer of an AI-powered real-time clinical decision support platform, raised $11.6 million in a Seed funding round.
