Procode (Procode Inc), an AI-powered medical billing and revenue cycle management (RCM) startup serving private practice surgeons, raised $10 million in a Series A round led by Health Velocity Capital.
The Series A funding comes just five months after Procode’s acquisition of The Auctus Group, the leading U.S. biller for plastic surgeons and a top-three biller in dermatology.
Founded in 2024 by Jeff Cripe, Kameron Rezzadeh M.D., and James Baez-Silva, Procode has secured a total of $14 million in funding to date. The startup secured a $4 million Seed round in March 2026. The Seed investment was led by Story Ventures, with participation from CHAP Health Ventures, Progression Fund, and Dmitry Shevelenko, Perplexity’s Chief Business Officer.
Procode said the fresh Series A capital will be used to expand its AI-powered RCM platform through additional acquisitions and accelerate growth into all surgical specialties and ambulatory surgical center (ASC) billing.
