SoundHealth, a sleeptech startup behind Sonu Band, an FDA-cleared, AI-powered, drug-free, wearable headband designed to treat sleep disorders, has closed an oversubscribed Series A round led by Shangbay Capital, bringing the company’s total funding to date to $12.25 million.
SoundHealth plans to deploy fresh Series A capital to accelerate commercial business growth of its FDA-cleared therapeutics designed to treat sleep disorders.
To date, SoundHealth has delivered more than 500,000 acoustic resonance treatment sessions for users ages 12 and up. Additionally, its flagship product, Sonu Band, has become the leading steroid alternative for the treatment of congestion due to allergic and non-allergic rhinitis.
According to SoundHealth, its drug-free wearable headband is recommended by more than 1,000 medical and dental professionals across the U.S.
